I can see how this would be very useful for student creating digital works for class projects. It would help with the copy right problems. It could be mentioned in library orientations but I doubt there would be enough time to to go into great detail. It seems there is more and more to try to cram into 40 minutes of library orientation.
It wasn't hard to search but the different rights might be confusing to some. I found several images that I could use and I searched some music that could be intergrated into presentations.
